One month only? Are you common law, or long distance relationship? I am not sure if I understand ur posts correctly,but to apply as CL you have to live together for at least a year.

yah he only visited me once. but now I'm here in canada and I am living with him here in CAnada

yes ashia. we need to wait for a few months to be considered as common law we will choose to apply outland application.
by the way here are the documents we are going to send to the embassy:
1. phone bills with my mobile number on my partner's bill
2. phone contract stating that I am connected to his plan
3. electricity, gas, waste, water bill with both our names and address
4. both mails sent to us separately with the same address
5. my own payslip with my address on it
6. 7 letters from our friends and my family
7. 1 letter from my housemate who signed the contract of the house and I will attached the contract under my housemate's name.
8. 1 letter from the owner of the apartment that we lived together while my partner visited me in my country for one month
9. phone calls to each other
10. call logs in the facebook (long distance relationship)
11. 1 mail he sent to me during our LDR
12. 1 christmas card he gave to me without mail stamp
13. pictures together (200 photos together with our friends)
14. facebook chat showing that my mom and my sister are talking to my partner
15. skype snapshots
16. pictures of our exhange gifts together such as rings, paintings, teddy bear etc.
17. joint bank account
18. joint purchases (groceries, house items etc)
19. joint credit card

hi thank u for the link however, Is it better if I could just ask my housemate to provide us a letter stating that we are renting the room for one year and I am gonna attached the original contract of the house under his name..

I am on work permit and now I want to process my dependents Visa, I don't have any Lease agreement and owner also don't want to give. What to do ?
