I originally applied for PR status and my husband joined in at a later stage. We would both have client numbers under the Federal Skilled Worker application. Does that mean we can both work?

Thank you for your reply. Just to clarify - the fact that I was the original applicant and my husband has been examined in the context of my application (He has his own Client ID but we are under the same file number), this means we can both work as PR?
Yes, same way I m PA in my family and my spouse can work (who is under my main file)

Forgive my bluntness, but how can one go through a complete application process and not knowing that both of you can work? This just sounds extremely strange to me.
I'm sorry, am I reading your question correctly? Are you asking me why I didn't think it was obvious that we could both work under the same application file?
Well, who wants to arrive in Canada and find out the opposite is true?
Yes, you did read correctly. The whole reason to become a permanent resident is to stay, live and work in Canada indefinitely. I really thought that was obvious, sorry about that. Good luck to you and your hubby!
