HI islington... i think you applied under foreign worker with job offer, right? you must had prevailing wage rate in your occupation, means average wage in an occupation. so every job has average wage rate more than $20.. so you must have read that before applying. any how, good luck for you cec :)

Hi Jagga,

There was no wage requirement under PNP when we applied...The company has been previously approved 2 years ago with the same wages and got a positive answer... >:( The position was not for me but for my husband as a main applicant.
I applied under CEC (same company) and meanwile I've received a positive AEO so I'll apply under Federal Skilled Worker stream as well....it costs a lot of money but I really would like to stay here.. I have lots of friends who does not speak more than 10 words in English, after being a Canadian citizen for more than 20 years, does not have high educational level but still got a good life here...I don't think they qualify more than me to be a Canadian....I mean I do beleive that I have the skills to make a good contribution to a Canadian Society. Especially when I think of my Canadian baby..

Yes, I also did not hear about the wage restriction. i do not know if that is the problem. But we are using rep and they should know about that and advise us.

But something happened after we applied. She told that she had revised the wage offer and submitted.

They were concerned about the wages of the existing employees...So they didn't beleive that the company will provide my husband with the rate offered as the existing worker's salaries in the same position were much less....

Hope this helps.

Btw, can i ask you some questions about the process in coming to canada, i have no idea on what should i do next.

My prospective employer already hired me for a full time position and told me that i will be receiving the official job offer soon. He also told me that they already completed an application in immigration on my behalf last month, May 2012.

Here is my question:
1. Would you know what kind of job offer is this? (provincial nomination or arrange employment)

2. Would their be a problem if this is their first time to relocate a foreign worker?

3. What should i do next aside from waiting the official job offer?

4. How long is the processing times?

5. Is there a thing called relocation package? (all expenses will be shouldered by the employer)

Tell me your answers and experiences.

Thanks

Thank you jagga. I thought PNP is one of the fastest program to come in canada..

Hi gpranav, i guess we have the same situation. This is also the first time my employer applied in this program. Any news about you application?

Hi jagga

Did you apply for federal application (3rd Stage) and if you applied which Visa Office you have mentioned in application form ? Can you please guide me

hi alizad,,,i haven't applied for the federal part. i am still in process of getting nomination certificate, applied 50 days ago, still waiting. what about you?

Hi jagga

It means are you waiting for result of second stage ? For second stage the time period is 90 days

Another week had passed but nothing yet.

Meanwhile my AEO application is under processing. Does anyone have idea how long the FSW- Arranged employement takes? My rep is telling me that it is the fastest as of date and takes between 6 - 12 Months. I had already lost two years waiting on PNP and do not want to waste time on this.

But I cannot apply under CEC. Working for a canadian company but off-shore. What about FSW under arranged employment? Do you know how long it takes?

hi gpranav,

it takes around 12 weeks after they have received all the documents...

Hi Islington,

Looks positive. Do you mean the PR application under Federal Skilled Worker - Arranged Employment will be processed in 12 Weeks after they receive all the documents?
