Hi Islington,

That would be better. I just noticed in their website that we should not contact them to know the status of the application and waste their resources. They want to concentrate on processing the file rather than answering to the calls asking for status.

Anyway I guess trying to contact the MP would be the best idea for now...Please let me know if there is any result. I have to wait until the next week as my employer is out of country, I don't want to contact the MP until he comes back.
Do you by any chance know the name of our manager in PNP?I think we have the same...

Yeah, this is what they had posted in their website. I saw in their acknowledgement someone. But my representative is telling me that it had moved from her to the Senior Manager.

We got a message that the file is in the Manager's queue for his decision. Any news with others?

We already knew that the file is with the Manager(it has been there for a while)...no update since then...

Yes that is what they say to us also from November 2011. They had sent a mail with the same message and that they would contact us once the decision is made.

Yes, we can be happy that they at least replied..
I really hope they will make a decision (positive) soon so we can just forget about these days....I have a feeling it's going to be over soon...

One year has been over since I get into this. I would have been happier even if they had rejected the application instead of agonisingly waiting. ???

If any of you applied in "PNP Job Stream Category"; you would qualify in CEC category by now since you've been working for at least a year now. By that way, most PR applications are being re-directed from CIC-Buffalo to CPP-O (Ottawa) as to expedite the processing. And sincerely, it's lot faster there.

Since you got ur PNP approved....you probably are the best person to answer my question.....or if anyone else knows please do tell me....

I juss got a full time job offer from my co-op....i will finish my co-op in may n will be asking my employer to apply for me under the category "International Students with job offer" category.....

What my employer wanted to know was how he could help me to apply for Ontario PNP (Pre-Sreen Process) n asked wat kind of recruitment efforts have to b made.....
Can someone please giv some information on wat kind of job advertisements does my employer hav to make n for long....

Hi Andy,

Be careful with the recruitment efforts. We applied in February 2011 (NO DECISION YET) and the company didn't make any recruitment efforts.
A few days ago they asked us to explain what is the rational not to make any recruitments efforts.!!!!..So maybe the rules has changed meanwhile and I suggest you to make some advertisement. Sometimes they don't say that you have to do certain things but it obviously can help your case.
