Hello Jagga,

Any developments with your application? My employer called the PNP office but they are still telling him that it is in process. He then contacted his representative and inquired what is happening? He told him that it is not only our application and he has almost 10 files in the same situation.

this is really disgusting,,,my employer's representative also called today but still at the initial stage ,,,did they gave any reason for delays of these files,,i posted on their facebook page lets see what they reply.... ::)

Are you guys waiting for the pre-screen approval? I sent my additional documents for the nominee application and called them up yesterday. They told me they received all the docs and my app is in queue, yet to be assigned to an officer.

yes ,,tugga we are are waiting for prescreen approval,,taking forever,,,,being told yesterday its still at the initial stage,,,what additional docs they requested?

What is the name of the company you work for and what field is it? They requested for passport copies all pages. The wait starts now

They reply that the processing time is 90 days on first-come-first-served basis. What that means? Who ever submits the application they had to process in 90 days after the submission of requested documents. Where comes first-come-first-served?

Hey Guys,

I had applied for PNP under student category. My Pre-Screen Nomination was approved within 3 months but the second stage took about 5-6 months as additional documents were required for processing of my file. I was nominated by PNP in December first week. So, I guess they take time but the result is positive. Only thing that you guys should worry about your legal status in Canada. They have mentioned in there letter they might delay for result as of legal status.

Hope you guys get your approval asap.

Cheers!

I applied for Ontario-PNP in 2010 under Int'l Students with Job Offer stream. You may not be interested in 2010 applicants; but I'm still posting my timeline for reference.

It took just short of 3 months (12 Jul 2010 - 6 Oct 2010) for my employer to get pre-screening done. Afterwards, I received my nominee certificate within 3 weeks (9 Nov 2010 - 26 Nov 2010). You can also see these info in my signature below:

My representative told like this that I would get my PR Card in 8 months maximum. Now i could not even get the Pre-screen application cleared in 8 months. I am tired of waiting and losing hope about this.

hii rosie,,,that was golden time to apply for pnp ontario,,,i checked on trackitt, people got their approval in just weeks,,but now the conditions are worst might be backlog or some other reason but its really disappointing,,,

hii,,,david congrates man,,,can you please elaborate what additional docs where requested for processing,,

hey pranav i just want to ask you what docs did they request from your employer,,,
thanks all,,

Hi Jagga,

They asked the "Summary of Employees" working in the company. My employer submitted some documents. My employer submitted some documents and they asked more details. He then got complete details from his accountant and submitted everything they had asked for in July, 2011. or That is what my representative told me.

They called my employer sometime in October and inquired more details. That is it. Nothing progressed after that. My representative told normally they will not call and if they call, it means they are working on it and we can expect for positive results. But nothing happened and every time we called they reply that it is in process.

It's indeed disappointing. The actual waiting game used to begin when we applied for PR. But I see now that CIC-Buffalo has speeded up their process while Ontario-PNP is slowing down. As far I've seen, Ontario-PNP couldn't even fill out their yearly quota in past. It's possible that PNP got popular among inland applicants and hence they receive more applications. The ouland PNP applications have also increased.

There is a FACEBOOK group for Opportunities Ontario; you guys can post there to get answers. The admins used to answer promptly during my time. Good luck everyone!

Hi Rossi,

She replies promptly in the FB. But usually she tell that the processing time is 90 days on First-come-first served and the count down begins after all the documents requested were submitted.

But 3 months turning out to be 8 months is scary. My company was pre-approved and still took almost 3 months for approval. It's a Governement owned company spreading out all over the province. The eligibility of an employer to be PNP-approved may be an issue here.

But I'm pretty sure once the employer gets approved, it won't take much time for the nominee.

Hi Rossei,

Thank you for your response.

It is scary, that's true. They should not hold an application this long and should have come with reply.

My representative is telling me i am not alone and there is a backlog from June and not to worry. They are coming up with some strange reason for the backlog. But another poster told in this thread that he got in three months. When i tell this to my representative he says that he is lucky.

This is the first time my employer applying for the PNP. Let us hope for positive results.
