Which Visa Office?

Guys,

Do I necessarily need to select the Visa Office closest to me or just anyone in Europe? What would happen if I applied via another VO than the one for my country?

CIC is going to send it to where they want it to go no matter what you put in the application. The applications are sent per CIC protocols, not the wishes of the applicant.

each country is assigned to a certain VO. if your husband would've stayed 1 year in USA for example, you could've chosen the Ottawa VO. but it's CIC's decision where they send the app.

Romania has its own VO (Bucharest processes Moldova & Bulgaria as well). so you choose Bucharest

Yeah if only everyone gets to choose which VO they wanted, I would've chosen CPC Ottawa.
