WHICH UNIVERSITY IS BETTER??

Please HELP me out .... I am really confused.... Actually I got Admit from University of Guelph (Engineering systems and Computing) an CARLETON University (Electrical and Computer Engineering)
Please help me on which one to choose between these two universities??? Guelph is near to toronto and a very nice place. where as Carleton is in Ottawa ,ontario (which is capital of canada)

Nah,, It is really difficult.. I saw that many times..actually Guelph is very good university but not that much known for its engineering though still improving day by day...

Carleton uni is best for engineering. offers variety of engineering fields (you can switch to Uni of ottawa too, while in carleton)

Uni of Guelph offers certain engineering courses, not all.

Okay.. but Univ of guelph has offer me courses of my choice.. and interest... and also university of guelph is more good than carleton as faar as i know in rankings..and also location keeping in mind.... Univ of ottawa ( I cannot switch as my courses are in carleton only..) univ of ottawa has good courses in CSE and IT not in ECE

My opinion would be to choose Guelph...not based on ranking or any such thing but simply because of it's proximity to Toronto. Look, unless the difference in standard of 2 universities is like chalk and cheese, always choose better location. Minor differences in rankings etc wont make any difference to your future prospects. Once you come from India to abroad, you tend to get stuck to the city that you move to because of various reasons. That's my experience as well as my opinion. Anyway, in terms of universities, both are good, so wish you luck!

Thanks... I respect your choice.. even I love to go to guelph..as punjabi..its also near to brampton..and toronto.. where I find most indians and indian food..
