I have a lot of photos that I can include in my application as evidence of our time together, but is it worth including photos that don't show the two of us together? In other words, should I only include photos that clearly show the two of us together? Should I include photos where neither one of us are actually in the photo? Or where only one of us is in the photo, such as photos that I've taken of my partner with our dog? (Boy, do I have a lot of those lol.) And what about photos where you can't see our faces, like photos of us skiing together and wearing goggles, helmets and face masks. Thanks.

Photos with both of you together is best. But photos where just one of you are in it can be very good depending on the context (basically helping proof your relationship). For example, photos of you with your partner's relatives and vice versa is good. Or if you two live apart, photos your partner visiting you in your city and vice versa (my wife visited me in Toronto I sent pictures of her in front of Toronto landmarks to show that she was indeed in Toronto).

Photos of just your partner in a random park by a tree would not be so helpful. This doesn't really provide any proof for your relationship

Showing you two share a pet is good, so I would include one photo of your partner with your dog - better if you have one where both of you are with the dog, though.

Anytime something was mentioned in the forms, I would provide a photograph if I could. I printed the photos in a word document, two to a page, and wrote a caption for each.

For example:
A question asking if my wife had met any of my friends. I answered with the name of my friend, the date my wife met him, and a photograph of the occasion.

Same with meeting members of each other's family: a photo from the first time I met my mother in law, a photo when my wife met my brother, etc.

I also included at least one photo from every trip I made to my wife's country prior to filing the visa application.

And of course, wedding photos.
