Hello everyone,

Last week I received an e-mail from Ottawa Pilot office, which requests my passport and photographs to finalize my application. My question is about the photograph sizes.

On the e-mail it says:

"You must submit two (2) recent passport-sized photographs of yourself and of each accompanying family member that meet the requirements stated on this webpage."

I looked at the web page they refer to and it describes the well known requirements (white background, no smiling, etc). So I submit two passport-size pictures.

But when I return back and look at the link they refer to, I realized that it gives information for permanent residency photograph requirements. As far as I imagine, they will use one of these two photographs on my PR card, right?

Passport size photographs are larger than permanent residency card pictures.

Did I do something wrong? should I send smaller (PR size) photographs. But they asked for "passport-sized pictures" on that e-mail.

Please help. Today Detroit received my package and I don't want any delay any more ( I wish I sent both passport size and PR size photos)...why do they make simple things complicated???
