I'm wondering who has the best price for the medical but also who is just good? I'd like to have the least stressful experience possible for myself and my husband, so who did you go to and what was your experience? Your thoughts are very much appreciated!

My wife used this one:
City: North York
Name: Jason Y.S. Tsai
Address: 3555 Don Mills Rd,
Suite 202,
Skymark Plaza,
Ontario
M2H 3N3
Telephone: 416-493-9511

It was pretty cheap and very quick for the medical, the x-rays were done in another facility near Sheppard/Leslie. No problems at all.

Thanks! A little far for us (we live in the beaches) but actually might be worth it for the price and good experience.

Call around, and go with best price/location for you. The medical should be pretty simple and straightforward no matter where you go, and I imagine in Toronto they are all similar price since there are so many to choose from. Seems to be more expensive when you're in an area where there is only 1 doc to choose.

Good point. I'll just have to get calling around. My hubby is just a little nervous (I have no idea why there's nothing wrong with him) and a doctor with bad bedside manners could make things just seem more stressful. Just want someone polite and professional who others have had good experience with.

The one in Kitchener was 188 total, dont have to bring photos as they take them there for eMedical, and everything is done in the same building!

Man that sounds great, but we don't have a car so Kitchener is not really possible! :( Thank you though!

We used the one at Mississauga doctor's office at
7330 Goreway Dr. They did everything there too. They are located close to the Pearson airport if you wanted a reference point.

Does this help?

Any info is helpful! But Mississauga is also pretty far since we don't have a car. Although if its near the airport, I'm sure public transit goes there. What did you pay?

Don't have the actual cost but I think it was around 200. At the time, emedical was not implemented there. So we had to pay 2 different bills. One for the doctor examination which we paid through debit card and the other we had to pay cash only for the x-ray/blood work. So in total was around 200.

I think we paid around $120 (cash only) for the doctors medical, and then another $60 or something for the x-ray.

OP, just go here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx , select Canada/Ontario, and search for the Toronto or Scarborough ones that are closest to you. You have around a dozen to choose from that should be pretty convenient to you. Personally I would just go with the cheapest one.

No idea. At the time we had no clue how the process really worked... we just went to the doc, got the receipt form and included that in the app, and everything worked out. Not sure how the doc got the info to CIC medical office.

As I stated earlier, it's probably best to check the list, start with the ones closest to your location, and ask them directly.

Yea he's pretty close to my location. but isnt picking up calls.
Thinking if I should just do a walk-in >.>
