Hello folks!

Its great to have so many people to get help from.

I have a decision to make...

I have acceptances from the following program

SIAST (1 yr certificate course)
St. Clairs (3 year course)
Red River ( 2 yr) will hear in 2 weeks the decision.

Kindly advise which one is more likeable for getting study permit?

And which institute you think is best

regards

For visa point of view, you can get your study permit with any of the proposed program.
It is not right to say that embassy will issue study permit for that abc program and will not issue a one for that xyz program.

Red River is a good option.

SAIST and Red river college are both top class colleges and both are situated in the province where your PR application would be easy ( lucky you).

You can join either any college you feel like, in Sask you have to do another 1 year course to make it 3 years PGWP or you can join Winnipeg which would directly give 3 years PGWP because of 2 years course!

St.Clair I heard not the best reviews about the colleges and moreover its in ontario. Pretty much difficult for PR and at one time you would like to move to Provinces like Manitoba or Sask.
So its better if you go early! Before you choose any course match the subjects of your previous course.

Good luck

why do you say i will have to come to manitoba at some point?

Yup, It would be easier for your PR application. Otherwise you have to find a job in ontario which is pretty difficult to find one and get LMO from the employer. I would suggest you to move to provinces like Manitoba or Sask.

But if you're going for study only but not settling then you can go anywhere you want. All depends on you.

Good luck.

Red river is better option and which course u r opting for in red river which is of 2 years??
