Hi guys
I ordered both long and short form of marriage certificate
What I have right now are:
1. a certified copy of our marriage license named as "Certified A True Photostatic"
2. a yellow document states our name and birth date/place and marriage date.
Which one shall I send to CIC?
thx!

It won't hurt if you send both. In my country, even if it states on the Document Checklist "original copy of Marriage Certificate", VO would still asks for Advisory on Marriages which reads almost the same of how you described no. 2. I now have and will send both documents along with the application package so they won't have to ask for it while our App is being processed :-)

Where did you get married? The marriage license and the marriage certificate are not the same thing. CIC wants the marriage certificate.
