Hello!

I just received our marriage certificate, both short and long forms (marriage certificate and certified copy of registration). However, something is not clear to me. On the short form, "date of registration" is different than the date printed on the long form (Part 3, last part of the registrar general information, the date after the signature of the registrar general). Can someone tell me which is the right one? The one in the short form or the one at the copy of the record? Which one am I supposed to use when filling out forms?

Thanks in advance for your answers! :)

Well since you will be sending a copy of the long form with your app,use that one there is no need to send the long and short, just long form.

I just got the short form and will mail that copy. I asked this question about a year ago, and many people sent the short, but I doubt it makes a difference.

It doesnt just dont send both, you dont want to confuse them anymore than they are lol.

It's true they seem to be very confus "able".....it seems that we have to go 3 years to school to be able to fill those form correctly and know exactly all the docs we have to provide
