from the perspective of cost of living, apartment cost, nightlife, quality of life, less racism, more diverse/international, more things to do, better economy, better weather, more young crowd etc.?

If you never want to leave the city, then Toronto. Vancouver is better known for access to the nearby ocean, forests, and mountains. Both cities are self-absorbed and obsessed with image. Many rich folk displacing the common people in both cities.

You will encounter similar economies, racism, nightlife, and demographics in both cities (subjectivities here; depends on your race, age, and career choice).

Weather in Vanvouver is moderated by the Pacific Ocean (warmer winters [4C], cooler summers [18C]) while Toronto is subject to greater temperature extremes as a continental climate (hotter summers [21C], colder winters [-3C]).

Toronto plus points - has cheaper suburbs, bigger economy, less racism, more multicultural, lots of young international population (Chinese, Indian..)
Vancouver plus points - much more beautiful, much more posh, much warmer
Vancouver negative points - a bit more racist, costlier, international population is big but primarily dominated by Punjabis, not much diverse

Racism ?
I have been in Canada from 3 years and would hardly remember any event of racism

Let me tell you a story. I, along with my 5-6 colleagues went to Finland for business, and let me tell you Scandinavia is awesome (chec out surveys), we came back to India and started doing work as usual. One day we were taling about Finland and I said there is some racism and one guy protested (just like you are doing now) he was enamored by the glitz of Finland (and righly so, it is beautiful and we were first time in a foreign country), so much that he did not realize/notice incidents of racism. when i pointed out the systematic racisms and social racisms he understood. so, look harder. All countroes are racists, even india. just that some places are more (like US) some less (like Canada). But yes, I think Canada is the least racist country in the world, but there is racism, no country is zero racism country.

Bhaiya, if you are from India then Toronto will be too cold for you. Vancouver has more India-like climate. Also Vancouver is much more beautiful nature wise than Toronto.

I agree, I have seen video in youtube that are disturbing, but that said there are bad people everywhere, there is no country where there are no zealous and selfish people. We will make Canada a better place, I think Toronto is more diverse and has less narrow minded people then probably any other city in World.

There sure is. Anecdotally, less in Toronto and Vancouver and more in the prairies.

There is racism everywhere. However, everyone in Canada is protected by the law so there is nothing to worry about.
