Hi there,

I did my TEFAQ so I don't know about TCFQ. I'd like to add, to some extent it's true what the other guy said, if you relax during the "expression orale" part you'll potentially score higher. I think it has something to do with looking confident :)

Hi all,

I am wondering how the expression orale session for TCFQ is carried out. Does the examiner ask you questions or you read them from a paper? It would be great if they are written down. From the sample test it looks like there is only one question to assess each level.

NIVEAU 1
Est-ce que vous travaillez ? Si oui, quel métier ? Si non, quel études faites-vous ?

NIVEAU 2
Qu’avez-vous fait pendant vos dernières vacances ?

NIVEAU 3
Pourquoi avez-vous décidé de passer ce test ?

NIVEAU 4

What is the role of the examiner? Will he ask further questions regarding the topic of each level or he just sits there when our answers are recorded?

Merci d'avance! :)

I'm not answering OP's question with this, nor I'm looking forward to suggesting you to take any of these exams, but this is what I got in DELF B2 and TCFQ (I took both of them the same week), I actually was feeling much better the day I took TCF's Expression orale than when I had my DELF B2 interview, so IMO it had a strong impact on my results:

DELF B2

TCFQ

Hi,'

Could you explain how to calculate point in France Language Score?

French Language
French Proficiency
Low Beginner (A1), High Beginner (A2), Low Intermediate (B1), High Intermediate (B2), Advanced (C1), Advanced (C2)

Listening 0 points 0 points 0 points 5 points 6 points 7 points
Speaking 0 points 0 points 0 points 5 points 6 points 7 points
Reading 0 points 0 points 0 points 1 point 1 point 1 point
Writing 0 points 0 points 0 points 1 point 1 point 1 point
Maximum 16 points

Suppose,

i admit in two courses step by step like DELF A1 & A2 and attend exam. In this course, i see the class schedule is A1 and A2 Level. and also see the point marking in A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 & C2. how to they evaluate/compare the marks in exam. Pls clarify me.

I am going to admit DELF A1 at January 2014.

Thanks in advance.
