Which form explicitly indicates we'd be applying him as an outland applicant?

Hello,
I'm a Canadian sponsoring my British husband. He is applying as an outland applicant although he is now in Canada with me under a student visa. We've got most of our documents together but I'm confused about what documents I need to send. The IMM 5491 checklist that applies to us and of which we will be submitting are

SPONSOR:
IMM 1344
IMM 5481
IMM 5540
receipt for fee

Sponsored person:
IMM 0008
IMM 5669
IMM 5490
IMM5406

In addition we're including IMM 3901E though it isn't on the IMM 5491 checklist. This is because no where on the forms does it ask if he is applying as an inland or outland applicant. Which form explicitly indicates we'd be applying him as an outland applicant?

Are there any other forms we missed out? We have no dependents, nor are we using a representative.

Thank you.

The Outland forms are somewhat different than the forms used for Inland PR applications. Those two checklists (IMM5491, IMM3901) are the correct checklists for your Outland application. The IMM5491 checklist is one item that indicates to CIC that you're applying Outland.

As far as CIC forms go, the list you have is correct. You'll also include your e-Medical receipt from your husband's upfront medical, his police clearance certificate, and the receipt from paying your fees.

Also, Outland applications are sent to a different address at CPC-Mississauga than the Inland applications.

I also wrote it in very large bold letters on each of our 3 envelopes "OUTLAND", haha.. Which I don't know how useful it will be since they will probably discard the envelopes pretty early

Thank you for clarifying that. I was wondering how to distinguish between the two application process.
