Which documents should you start collecting as you get into the pool?

Hi everyone,
I am about to start my profile for the express entry and since it takes quite a long time to get various documents from our authorities, I wanted to clarify two things:

1. Which documents will I need to submit with my e-application after I receive the ITA?
2. Is there a validity period for each document? How recent should these document be?
For example, if I get all documents ready and they are of , say, November 1st but I submit those documents in December or January 2016, would that we a problem?

Get proof of funds and experience letters once you get into the pool. Medical is valid for a year and Police clearance is valid for 6 months. So get those once you get your ITA.
