Which documents are required to make foreign experience count?

Hi,

I have 2 jobs, that I would like to get points for during my EE (CEC). I am in the process to get the reference letters (hopefully in English - otherwise I have to get them translated...)
I assume, that I have to match them to the right NOC as well. Do you guys know whether they have to be the same NOC group (0, A, B)?

And what other documents are needed or would be supporting my application?

Thanks!!

They do not need to be in the same NOC code, attach as many documents that prove the employment as possible. Tax forms, pay slips and employment reference letters with all the details CIC asks for on a company letter head with a signature and contact information.

Unfortunately I will advice you have them all translated. It will cost you money but it will save you time eventually.

You don't necessarily need to attach payslips unless the employment reference letter is somehow weak (it's from a very small business, or you're saying you worked for family, or there's something else about the letter that makes the agent think you didn't actually do that job etc.). If your employer is mid-sized business and above, and there's nothing in the letter that raises any eyebrows, there's no need for payslips. You can always send them payslips later if they ask for it.

I agree with you @21Goose but i would submit it rather than wait to be asked or have my application go into review required and waste time. It is not necessary but it wont kill just to send it incase its needed.

If the payslips were in English I'd agree with you. But there's no point getting stuff translated when they may never be needed. Still, both options are open, he can choose. Perhaps waiting a couple months is no big deal, perhaps spending the money to get it translated is no big deal.
