Which course to take and which college is good?

Hi all,

I am looking for a 2 year course that can provide me 2 year work permit on completion.
Following are my details:

IELTS 8 (L9, R8.5, W7.5, S7)
Working as Software Engineer (2008-Till Date)
Worked as Lecturer (2006-07)
M.Tech (Computer Engineering) 2006
B.Tech (Electronics) 2004

Somebody suggested me Wireless Networking and someone PG diploma in Project Management. But they are all 1 year courses.
Is there any hope of PR for 1 yr course?
Also, i don't know which college is good. please suggest.

Phd is an option but it takes so long to complete and doesn't offer good jobs in canada..

I am late for Jan 2011 now. Should i try for May 2011 or Sept 2011?

why you are going Canada if you have lots of degrees ,I think there must be lot of scope for intelligent persons like you in our country , whats your age ??

why don't you try permanent residency under PR point system to Canada??
may be you can get 68 marks .

2 saal da koi course ni haega..you are over qualified bha g..i saal hor work ex lae k file for the PR.4 saal tak number laguu..that l be the best option.i had many friends gone there for wireless n/w but couldnt find jobs ....baki vekhlo jidan theek lage twanu..

hey friend ,

in PR system you have to complete 68 points which come from various 6 levels .But you must have some skill like welding ,plumber, engineer etc etc ,i don't know all categories but i know that It will take hardly 1 year to get PR under this new fast track point system ,after submission of your file .
you must search on Google for more details .this system is called as "fast track PR system for Canada".
just search on net and i think you are illegible for direct PR to Canada. My friend who has done b.tech also immigrate to Canada in this system .Why you are wasting time in student visa ,then work permit .

I was just trying to have little candid chat with a local lad in our native language.what problem do you have with this?we were not conspiring against "Canada" and moreover the way you wrote tells alot about your kind self showing disrespect to other people's language..chap, it was just a plain chat...get out of it...there are no set of rules regarding a specific language to be used.although we generally use English....To sum up..we do respect other languages and will be writing off in english.

O BHAA G isnu pata ni kahda SAADAA hoya peya anyways... bha g, regarding your well informed Knowlegde of "Fast Tracking Immi." ya You were right as they say that it will take from 6-12 months to immigrate [that's what the book says] but the Ground reality is totally different.they are taking around a minimum of 18 to 24months for their Decisions..financial managers,nurses ,hospitality people are in high demand and are on their priority list..i am not talking straight out of bed here.this is what the reality is ! baki every case varies...mainu tan lagda you should keep working and concurrently file for the immigration. what say? kithon o tusin ? CHD? i am from SEC 36

@theamandeep: PR is the best option. but i am not eligible as per the new categories list to apply for PR. My age is 27. My job is good here as well but i want to immigrate as all my relatives are there in canada/USA and i want to rejoin them.

@Gujranwala.chandigarh: Oh.. i heard about Humber, it has a web developer course of 3 semesters. will that do for me? or should i try for Phd instead?
