Ok My analysis on how I would decide to where to land

I'm in IT service management - non technical - business analyst.

Toronto: I don't want to go to Toronto...Many jobs available but also competition is high, houses prices are high, lower salaries. too much traffic.
Calgary: Was a good option until the oil prices dropped, jobs are not many, and a lot of lay offs, houses prices a average.good for families.
Vancouver: Very expensive, many jobs are available, house prices are very high, good weather.
Ottawa: jobs availability is average, more stable, lower house prices, good weather, good for raising a family, salaries are better than Toronto

Does anyone has any comment on what i summarized above, this is as per my understanding. if all of the above is correct, then Ottawa it is :)

Hi guys,

I put Toronto in my application originally. But now need to be in Montreal. Can I land in Toronto and then move to Montreal? Thanks
Hi, you can move any where once landed. anyhow, if you are nominee of qubec, you have to land there first.
Good luck

Hope you are doing excellent!

I am mechanical engineering but having 7+ years of Sales & Marketing experience for engineering companies (In India) & my wife is MBA (finance) +CFA having experience in equity research. We are planning to land Toronto in end of January. Just want to know that is it right choice or we have to rethink over our landing.

Toronto is good. Alberta is down now due to oil crisis.

I would recommend arriving mid-January instead of November. For banking sector, Toronto is best for you as all big five banks of Canada are headquartered here. All the best.
