I'm filling up the forms to request a TRV since I intend to travel to Canada on the 15th of December and leave on the 1st of January. My passport and citizenship is from a country in South America. I'm 37 years old. I have my permanent residence in Spain, over 15 years now.I work six months a year; specially for the high season, in Italy, in tourism. I've been divorced for the last 5 years. I live with my family in Spain; when I'm there and not traveling. I have a daughter that I pay child support and pay half of her expenses, and get to see pretty often even when I'm working abroad. I have a travel history. I have travelled quite a lot. I made good money but I got pay on commission based. I have about 19000 CAD$ in my bank account. I bought a travel insurance for the time I'm gonna be there. I have a credit card. My boss gave me a work reference letter where he states that he will re-hire me upon my return before the beginning of the high season. I was enrolled in the University in Spain but did not finished. Have the certificate from the University though. I have some good friends in Canada and one; which I've known for almost 2 years, is taking care of my visit there; i.e: bought my airplane ticket and is gonna take care of some of the expenses, I will stay at his place and do a little bit of traveling before returning. I have stayed longer than six months in Italy in 2007, to stay with friends and travel so I can get police records certificate. The ones in Spain I won't have the physical time to get them but if they will ask me I won't have a problem to get them later. I'm planning on bringing 2500 CAD$ cash for those 3 weeks + I will use the credit card when I need it.
Am I missing anything? Can I get a TRV with what I listed above? Any helpful answer is more than welcome!
