Which account to use?

When I applied for a student visa, I also applied for a visitor visa for my wife - both from the same cic.gc.ca account.
Now I need to file a visitor record extension for my wife and toddler kid.

Should I use the same cic account or will my wife need to create her own for submitting a visitor record request?

It is always encouraged for any principal applicant to use their own CIC account; unless they're dependents.

You can create a GCKey for your wife, and use it for both Applications.
