Hi I have appliued under FSW1 catagory on 23 feb 2009. They have asked me to submit fina documents at CHC Newdelhi within 120 days. I just wanted to know wherther my wife's Transcripts are required to be sent or just it is for principal applicant.

Thanks everybody in advance.

Hi, look at the New Delhi appendix A: it says:

For you, your spouse or common-law partner and your dependent children over
age 22:
Post-secondary education documents: vocational or technical certificates or
diplomas;
• College or university documents: certification of completion and the
graduation degree, diploma, or certificate issued by the college or university and
the evaluation committee;
• Transcripts: original transcripts of all degrees must be submitted in universitysealed
envelopes.
• Professional qualifications certificates: notarized professional qualifications
certificates should be submitted if available. (e.g., Engineer, Computer
Programmer, Accountant, Economist, Translator/Interpreter, Architect etc.)

wpc71,

I wonder about this instruction too. If the spouse is non-accompanying and the applicant is not claiming any adaptability points for that person, will the transcripts still be required? Logically, it seems not. Anyway, I didn't submit them and I've explained in a separate letter why I couldn't. Hope they are not picky on that :-(

New Delhi visa post doesnt insist transcripts even for main applicants.NOT REQUIRED.

I assume that he doesn't know what he is talking about. From the additional visa requirements for Delhi

Thanks, PMM. I had read in the instructions that they're needed too. That's why I asked 'rely' the details. As soon as I get an update, I shall post on this further.

I assume PMM is bookish, he has erred on numeruos occasions earlier also(search all his previous posts), I am referring thrugh my experience.He has a reasonably good standing in this field but to me fall short of "final authority"
I repeat again Tansccripts not mandatory , irrespective of what is written in New Delhi check list.
If you can get it easily include it otherwise dont waste time in running all around the country side to get transcripts.

Hi Rely,
Good for you that you were not required to submit your transcript with your application. Maybe your case is exceptional. Do you have you have you visa already? please post your timeline.

If someone applies without transcript AND you get denied for not having transcript, you will loose your fees. Am I correct in saying that?
If that is the case, who is willing to risk the loss of their application fees?

If there is no transcript, can't we all claim 25 points :)
