1. Shall I submit new police certificate ?
2. if yes, where to submit and how to submit it?

Hi! I'm applying outland (London) and my Canadian common-law partner is sponsoring me. We mailed the application already about two weeks ago but at that point my partner didn't have his latest (last year's) tax return papers yet. Now he has them and we want to send them to update the application package and I assume it's through this IRCC WEB FORM. Only one thing confuses me: it asks whether we submitted a paper package to an office OUTSIDE Canada. As I'm from Finland my application is probably processed in London, but the package is sent first to Mississauga for sponsor approval. So, do I answer Yes or No?

You answer yes, as an overseas VO will process the PR application.

You should wait until you have AOR and a file number/UCI before submitting further documentation.

Great, thank you for the advice! Just to be clear, you don't think it's a problem if something supplementing the sponsor's application is sent after the AOR, meaning, can the AOR be delayed because he doesn't have his latest tax report?

I sent my application towards the end of February when tax season just started. I hadn't filed yet and never sent my assessment after I did. I was never asked for it and approved as a sponsor.

That being said tax season is over now so maybe they want it now. Worst case scenario is they return the application. They could also send correspondence requesting it or best case scenario they don't ask at all.

You will get AOR just the same as everyone else, provided your application isn't returned as incomplete. When you get AOR, the sponsor will be assigned a UCI and you will recieve an application number. Once you have those then send it in and make sure you write those on anything you send along with both your names, dob etc. That is how they will match it with your application. If you send it now it might never be added to your application.

You were way better at your timing than we were! It's the worst case scenario we want to avoid so that's why I was wondering whether to send the papers now, so that CIC doesn't send the package back as incomplete. It's hard to know sometimes how to proceed...

Without a file number and UCI it will be almost impossible for them to match the assessment to your application unfortunately. By all means though, if it makes you feel better, go ahead and send it lol.

But do send it again once you get file number and UCI haha.
