Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hello,

I choose Calgary as my final destination but I am having a second though about my choice. I have a family with two kids and a pregnant wife. Can anyone advise me on where to settle in canada given my situation. For now, I am mostly concern about cost of living. I received my skilled worker visa (FSW I) already.

Thanks for your inputs.

Pandora,

Well i guess there mare many factors to look at before you decide where to live, I would take the below points into considerations :

- Job Field: try to took where your job field is more active (ex: IT/Telecom would go for GTA)
-Family/ friendly environment
-Schools
-Cost of living
-friends / relatives: they might be of a great help in terms of setteling down, connections for getting job,etc..
-weather

All the best :)

Thanks hassan for your inputs.

I am in academia. The job factor is not really that important for me now ( I have a job back home) as I am looking for a place where my wife can deliver the baby. I am also looking for a place where rent is not expensive and yet a safe environment for my kids. And of course a pretty good school system.

It all depends where your friends and known people live who can be of great help when you go there
