Where to get bank draft in ABU DHABI..

Mr. Brother went to HSBC Bur Dubai this morning, buy they require account number in HSBC where to Debit the Amount.

We don't have account in HSBC.

Any option...

I am not sure about others who are issuing DD for Canada

In ADIB, they will not process bank draft without ADIB account as well.

But when you call to the customer service of ADIB, they will say they are processing bank draft without an account to them.

However, when I call back again, they mentioned that it’s Manager Discretion if they will allow you to process or not.

Moreover, thank you for this site, because I got bank draft now in Emirates NBD.

what is the maximum expiry? since they are now going to take 4-6 months to give AOR....so....

I have been asked to submit passport and bank draft for right of PR fees in CAD. Do you know where i can get a bank draft in CAD done in Abu Dhabi?

I believe Al Fardan exchange used to do it but they stopped now.

Please request this information from those who have got a bank draft for Canadadone in the last few months in abu dhabi?

I have an account with NBAD but do they do bank draft?

I was used to get bank draft for canada through al fardan money exchange but unfortunately they said they stopped issueing the drafts, i went to other places like alansari and uae exchange but all said the same,so i wonder where to get bank drafts in abu dhabi, i heard some banks can do that, but do i have to have an account with them or not plz any advise would help.

I had taken my draft from emirates nbd before 3-4 months back.
It is on Khalifa street,main branch.You can get it there only.Rest of the branch doesn't issue.

Can you advise if they give the bank draft to those who dont have an account with the bank?

If you don't have an a/c with Emirates then probably you will not be able to draw a draft from them.But as you stay there no harm in asking them!!

Apparently there is some rule against issuing bank drafts if you don't have an account with them. However any bank where you have an account can issue a bank draft in CAD. It will be payable by another bank. For instance, I got mine made at EIB but it was payable by Citibank. Local banks will have some arrangement with multinational banks.

I just managed to get a demand draft from EIB. They dont have a bank draft. Apparently they are almost the same thing and both are acceptable by CIC. You get it from the teller. Customer service didnt know anything about it.

no exchange can make bank draft in UAE. Only banks are making it. and banks make it only for those who have account with them. i made it from NBAD 5 months back. please do not waste your time in going to different exchanges

Can any one really help me as i do not have a account here in uae the only thing i have is a salary account in NBAD, so were do i make a Demand draft to canada from abudhabi, it is so difficult for past three days i have been going to so many banks and exchange but none of them answer me where do i make a DD for canada, guys please do help me.
