As far as I know, travelers with Canadian student visa cannot travel through US and transit visa is not an option either. I ended up buying expensive ticket since the cheaper ones were via Newark. Anyone with right information, feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

You need a transit visa for US if you have a connecting flight in any US state.

you cannot travel via usa. once u arrive in any poe in usa u need to pass on thru immigration including in and out of your check in luggage.

if you choose a flight connection avoid uk and usa.

these 3 websites i found better! booked a Mumbai-London-Vancouver (9hr layover) flight at 65k, that too 2hours ago as I got my Visa today & was worried about the rising prices as well! But some friends helped in finding this deal Otherwise many flights are getting costlier with every passing day! we all know that!

they are allowed... N u font require transit visa if u r in possession of a confirmed flight ticket n also ur layover NT more than 8 hours. if u want to go outside of airport, then u vl need transit visa which u CN get at airport too. Both at NY n London
