you send your whole package to Mississauga. That is you send your application to sponsor and your husband's as well. Once you have been approvers as a sponsor, Mississauga will then forward your husband's package to Damascus.
The medical does not have to been seen by the office in Mississagua, You just have to include the Proof that the medical was done. The DR. office where your husband had his medical done should give you a paper that shows a file number on it. That is very important, they will need this so they can match your husband's medical in Damascus to the right file. The only thing they do in Mississauga is approve you as the sponsor. That is why the medical is send directly to Damascus. AS for your family memeber sending everything to Damascus, that may have have been because they were not applying for spousal sponsorship.
Your husband may get called in for an interview, If this happens, more than likely it will be held in Amman.
Did you include proof of your plans to return to Canada?
Do you live in Amman? I love Jordan and Amman. My husband lives there and we have been over a year trying to get him is PR. We were refused and we have an appeals hearing in November. Looks like I will be going to visit him again in December since even if we win the appeal, I can't see them giving him is visa before then.
