Where is Sponsor UCI/Client ID?

Hi,

I am sponsoring my wife, and in form IMM1344 (Sponsorship Agreement), there is a question about my UCI/Client ID? I am not sure where my UCI/Client ID is? It's not in my Canadian passport, Canadian Citizenship Certificate, or the obsolete Immigration Form (IMM 1000) I received when I landed in Canada in 2001?

I think I should leave this UCI/Client ID empty, right?

UCI/Client ID is on your original immigration landing paper. Look for a 8 digit number towards the top right. It isn't specifically marked as UCI/Client ID # but it is a valid number.

Yes, please leave it empty.

You will be assigned a UCI number to login to ECAS after you have been approved as sponsor from Mississauga office.

If you have been given a Visitor Record or a visa previously, or gotten any correspondence with CIC before, it will be on there. Otherwise, it's safe to leave it blank and you will be assigned one. You may have one already, but they can find it based on your passport, etc, and they will give it to you once they have started processing your application.
