where do the supporting documents go??

For example..sponsor supporting documents such as option c form, passport copies, birth certificate copy

for example...sponsored spouse supporting documents such as medical exam paper, identity and civil documents copies...


How I am doing my app is this

Envelope 1: SPONSOR FORMS

Envelope 2: SPONSORED SPOUSE FORMS

Envelope 3: PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP

Now I am following the checklist but it does not go in order.

On the check list it asks for sponsor forms then sponsored person forms, sponsor supporting documents then sponsored person supporting documents. I assume the supporting documents do not go in the same envelope as sponsor forms and sponsored peron forms as it would not be following the outline of the checklist in the exact order!

Would it be best to do ENVELOPE 1: SPONSOR FORMS

ENVELOPE 2: SPONSORED SPOUSE FORMS

ENVELOPE 3: SPONSOR SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

ENVELOPE 4: SPONSORED SPOUSE SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

ENVELOPE 5: PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP

We never did envelopes, I thought it would make it easier for stuff to get lost or misplaced by the VO. So just placed everything in the order on the checklist.

If you want to use envelopes I think 5 envelopes is too much stick with 3:

1. Sponsor forms and supporting documents
2. Sponsored person forms and supporting documents
3. Proof of relationship

I would put a cover letter (what it contains) on each envelop (outside)

1. check list and sponsor forms. imm xxx.

2. form immxxxx, immxxx. etc

3. proof of relationship- photos, marriage cert. etc.


P.S I put whole forms and proof in one big envelop and put a cover letter on top of my app (1. check list. 2. form immxx. …. 10.photos )
then put application envelop into bigger bubble envelop to send to CIC.

Lol I know right - it's like you just don't know where to start

I did : - 4 envelopes

1) Sponor's forms and requirments ie; option c, passport etc. (which included my 11 page love story) because some questions on my forms references to sections from my love story

2) Sponored person forms and requirments ie; passport, medical, police etc (including 10 page love story) again because some questions from his forms are references to sections from his love story)

3) all supporting documents/ proof of relationship together ( because some evidence refers to both of us )

4) all communications, chats and phone bills

At the end of the day they are going to put that all together in one big fat folder shipped to your VO - just like they did when they returned my entire package back to me - whats mess that was !!!

The first time i submitted my package you would have thought it was a university assignment but nope not the second time around, I changed the entire packing and format- !!!!!

Everyone's ideas are awesome - but we all have our own set-up lol !!!
