I submited my Federal skilled worker application in May 2010. There was an addition to my family in September 2010.

I received the 1st AOR in October to send my document to Accra visa office in October.
Now I need to notify the visa office about the change in my family size.

As such there is need for me to pay application fee of CAD150 for the new baby.

Please where do I pay ?

Do I send an updated form to CIO specifying my reference number with the extra payment ?

Or

Do I make the extra payment through Visa office?

Please advice.

CIO work is over, send application fee, birth certificate, photographs, updated application form, passport copy of child to Visa Office. You can also attach forwarding letter.

Bros, Just make the new baby's payment to Accra visa office by addressing it to ' Receiver General for Canada' and is CAD150 and then follow other instructions given by explorer. Best of luck.

Thank you all for your response and advice.

Please one more question.

Can I pay with Master card (debit card) to the visa office?

i.e by completing the "fee payment form" giving my card details just the way i made the first payment

Cheers

Thanks Bennyameh,

Iam based in Nigeria, how do I go about certified bank draft (CAD150) in favour " The receiver general for canada" to be submitted through Accra visa office.

Cheers

Try GTBank, they issue drafts in canadian dollars... But you might need to process it from their head office in lagos. All the best & God bless the new bundle of joy!

Hi
Go to any branch of GT bank and book the request but you must have an account or you know someone who has an account and is ready to help you.
Gt bank will issue the bank draft only in US dollars 150 which is the same value with the Canadian dollars.
It will take one week from booking to receipt of the draft.

Good luck.

Benny

Hi Bro, Just wanted to inform you that processing fees are paid in Canadian dollars and not US dollars. If you pay in US dollars, I can assure you that the draft'll be returned back to you. Please, get someone or a friend outside Nigeria to help you source for Canadian dollars as the currency is not being traded in this country called Naija. For your info, only RPRF is paid in US dollars or Ghanian Cedes and not processing fees. My twenty kobo.

Hi Bennyameh, The poster was talking about paying processing fee for his new born Baby to Accra. Processing fees are paid in CAD and not US dollars. Beside, I went through the site you pointed out and all i could see was RPRF and not processing fee. @ Ilesanmi, feel free to visit CHC Accra website to obtain their general enquiry number and give them a call asking if you are allowed to pay your new Baby's processing fee in US dollars or CAD. My 20 kobo.

Accra accepts payment in US dollars for all fees. This year I paid processing fees for 2 kids and RPRF for my spouse and I, all in USD bank drafts without any problems.

GTB issued the drafts at their headquarters in VI within minutes and not day(s). You need a funded domicillary account for that purpose. I hope this helps.
