Hi! For those VO is Ottawa , we received passport request today ! Medical/PCC request 23 June and done end of June. I want to share the news so that those with Ottawa can manage their expectation! Also big thanks to other members who took time sharing and contributing to data collection!
Best of luck to all of us

I guess ottawa is the fastest one to get passport request.

I think new-Delhi people have to wait :D

Anyway congratulation !!!

@Parents 2014,

@mspjal

App received on Jan 6. Never got SA. Called CIC on Jun 10 and told file transferred to Ottawa on Apr 8. Received medical/PCC /fee request Jun 23.
The passport request gives them two options depending on if they are currently in home country or Canada.they happen to be in Canada now and we will send to Ottawa
Hope it helps

Hi all,
My parents got 2 emails for medical and PCC on July 18th. Medical done on 23rd July and PCC emailed on July 29th. Ecas status for parents just show 'in process'. Should we wait for another email requesting RPRF or just pay the fee online and email them the receipt. Please share your insight.
Thanks

Hi,

Why to wait pay the money and send it receipt.

In worst case scenario in rejected file they will return money. So need to worry.

Hope this will help

Thanks for the quick reply. When I pay online, it gives you the message that this fee won't be refunded if your ap poll I cation is in process; accepted; or refused. Also, it just asks for my credit card info...no application number or UCI etc.

Congrats! I'm pretty sure we would have been up to this point too, but ottawa decided they wanted another police check and my mum's divorce cert a month after they had asked for other police checks and rprf ... so frustrating! The divorce cert was included in the original application, I have a copy of what was sent... annoying. Oh well! Good to know ottawa is onto passport requests!

I am also in the same situation. I am sure our files are processed by the same officer. I just paid my fees without request. Just pay it and email receipt to your office. No need for file number etc

Check the PCC email thoroughly. At the end of my PCC email from Ottawa, they requested to pay for RPRF.

What do you see in your ecas? I see only four lines-

1- Application received date
2- Application in process date
3- Correspondences sent that might be medical, PCC & RPRF
4- Medicals have been received.

Does it show in ecas when we pay RPRF or submit PCC? Thanks!

Anyone applying for their parents from Quebec? Any PPRs yet for 2014 or 2015 applicants?

I am getting worried about my in-laws application (from India) with the following timelines:
Application Received: Jan 17, 2014.
Sponsorship approved: Apr. 14, 2016.
Started processing: June 29, 2016.

However, they have not received a call for medical, PCC or RPRF payment so far. Anyone one else in the same boat with similar timelines?

Thanks, Sridhar.

Thank you very much Rossei and mspjal. Very helpful responses.

ROPGP_2014, my LVO is London and they started processing in April and I received the request for PCC yesterday i.e. July 28th. So approx. 3-4 months.

Thank you so much tameez1985. I'll stay tuned; hopefully things will start moving soon.
