How would you submit PCC? mail or email? What is the deadline to submit it?

So if you read the email carefully it states: Please do not submit originals, unless otherwise stated. Now lets look up.... "provide an original police clearance certificate from Lebanon "

Today I called CIC to be clear about the method to send the Police clearance certificate to CPC Ottawa Office. The agent entered to my parents’ application database to see the instruction provided on the email I received. He was able to see my sponsorship approval letter but was not able to see the email I received regarding PCC. He informed that most of the time the agents cannot see the emails CIC send to the applicants.

He suggested me to send the PCC through both of the following methods:
1. Send scanned copies of PCC by replying the email I received.
Email address: CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca

2. Send original PCC by regular mail (Canada Post) or courier (FedEx, Purolator, etc.).
Courier Address:
CPC – Ottawa
365 Laurier Avenue West
Ottawa, ON K1A 1L1

Permanent Residence Application Status changed from "application received" to "In Process" today. There is a 2nd line added

2. We started processing <My moom's name>'s application on June 28, 2016.

I just called CIC and the agent did not gave me any information. I was asking for SP letter to re send because I never received the letter they sent on April 14th. He said I did not submit Application and forms - Use of a representative or Power of attorney IMM-5476 so he will not be able to provide me any data. I was kinda surprised because I thought SA part is about the sponsor not about the applicant.

Would you mind to send an email to CPC-Ottawa and ask them if they would accept scan copy of PCC? At first, they might not response your email but if you wait 1 or 2 days and resend them again, they will reply. I would email them but I have not received the request yet. Does your parents have PCC ready or will they have to apply for it?

It happened for my friends's visa application. First time they did not reply. Second time they replied. After that, they replied on a daily basis.

I might get similar email next week as my timeline is very close to yours.

I think sending email to CIC will be a good idea. As the long weekend already started, I will send a case specific enquary on early next week. I will post the update after I receive reply from CIC.

My parents received an email for Medical and police clearance. CIC ask us to submit CSQ as I am a sponsor in Quebec by August 12. But my problem is I never received approval letter from CIC. But I have to use their approval letter to Quebec Immigration in order to process it. Can I just give Quebec office the email my parents received as an approval letter? If it's ok, may I have a certificate before August 12?

Hello, I am in the same situation as you. I called CIC and the agent sent an internal email to CIC Mississauga asking them to send me the Sponsorship approval letter which he said might take up to a month. You need this letter to apply for CSQ. They will not accept anything else to replace it. Then I sent a reply email to the same address that requested CSQ informing them about the missing Sponsorship approval letter and requesting they put our application on hold until we receive it. I didn't get any reply after that. But even if we had the letter, getting the CSQ in 45 days in a very tight deadline so not sure if we can make it on time. As for medicals, my parents did them as the agent said they have to do them within 30 days regardless of CSQ. We didn't receive Police certificate request though. I suggest you call CIC and inform them about your situation and let you parents do the medicals and get their police certificate. At least you would have submitted everything and explained why you can't get CSQ by the dealine requested. Please update here whenever you get any response or if anything new in your application occurs.

Good morning friends,
I received Landing fees instructions from Delhi office. I am trying to pay it online but it asks how many applications, now application is one but applicants are two. Do I need to pay $490x2 or just $490?
Delhi office also asked to submit original documents, is it safe to do so or I just submit the copies?

thanks,
C.

Hello ruralsask,
here are details from CIC website in regards to those fees.

Right of Permanent Residence Fee Application $CAN
Getting your permanent resident status 490

Principal applicants (with some exceptions) and spouses and common-law partners coming with them to Canada must pay this fee. Applicants must pay this fee before CIC issues the permanent resident visa or before the applicant becomes a permanent resident in Canada.

These people do not have to pay this fee:

dependent children of a principal applicant or sponsor, a child to be adopted, or an orphaned brother, sister, niece, nephew or grandchild; and
protected persons, including Convention refugees.

Thanks for replying, I have read it before but it is still unclear do I pay for my mom and dad separate fees or combined?

If its for Mom & Dad (Principal and Spouse), then its 2x 490$...

That's what I thought however application is still one, to make it 2x$490 I have to select two applications? Does that sound right?

2. What about my original docs is it safe to send to Delhi?
