submitted my parents / grandparents sponsorship in 2014. my credit card was charged. i cant remember which card i have used.

i did not receive any email for conformation. the application did not return...

all i remember was my credit card was charged during that period

i tried calling cic but they told me that they havent processed any 2014 application yet.

cant get any info on my parents application

submitted the application here in Canada

anyone else experienced this? any input is highly appreciated.

Use your UCI number (can be found on PR Card or citzenship certificate) and try to use Ecas to see if they have details of your application in the system online.

Hi, i am already a Canadian... application is for my MOM ( parents sponsorship )

sent the application in january 2014 and was charged on the same month

however i did not receive any confirmation nor receipt for the payment.

not sure how to follow make a follow up

Ha, it's moving quick, but I don't think I'm the fastest, I know there were a couple of other people on this forum who posted sponsorship approval before me... I would be interested in whether they have received the coveted request for medicals yet.... I'm only sponsoring my mum as well, so that may be helping? less to process maybe...

I hope it goes smoothly for all of us!! I can't see anything that could go wrong, but holding my breath until it's final nonetheless!

The sponsorship column is still in process. I got the approval email from cic when my file is transferred to LVO, which is 29-Feb-2016. That's the last email I got from them.

My status changed from PR to Citizenship. Do I have to do something about it in my parents process?

During my application to sponsor my parents I submitted Notice of Assessment (Not option C). After suggestions made by couple of sponsors on this forum, I recently collected the Option C Printout for 2010, 2011, 2012 from CRA. CIC has not requested yet to submit my option C.

Could anyone please suggest me if I should proactively submit the option C print outs (for 2010, 2011, 2012) to CIC? If yes, what will be the best method (Email, IRCC web Form, FAX, Mail) to do so?

My Sponsorship Application Status on ECASE is showing that CIC has started processing my application on March 14, 2016.

Also the spreadsheet says my application was received Jan 4, the correct date is Jan 2, 2014 8:56am

My bad that it was inserted as Jan 4, anyway I changed it. Now, you're the first entry (Row# 9) in TIMELINE.

Bases on 2 different I/P dates, I also made few changes to the SS. Until a large volume of cases are processed, I cannot finalize the steps. Anyway, you guys have a look and let me know.

Ah, I think it was your posting I seen a while back, I think you're likely our trail blazer! Will be keen to see when you receive medicals request.... (or other docs request)...

I just received email today from CIC suggesting that I have met the requirement for eligibility as a sponsor of my father and mother. My file has been forwarder to CPC-Ottawa for further processing.

Hopefully all others waiting for the sponsorship approval will hear the good news soon. Keep checking your email regularly. May god fulfill all of our well wishes soon.
