When will the mandatory $2000 quarantine be lifted?

Vaccine passports are in talk with most countries. There might still be quarantine requirements but not institutional but rather tracked home quarantine only. Until that happens, expect this to continue through rest of the year atleast.
I believe it is a receipt or certificate to prove that you have taken one of the vaccines in order to let you board flights.
Well the Prime Minister stated that he is not fond of implementing them, at least for now. You can read about his statements online.
I can't see vaccine passports being implemented. What will happen if the vaccines efficacy is in fact only 6 months? I can see some countries implementing you need the vaccine to arrive in their country, *once* it's widely available. Just like you need specific vaccines in some countries to enter.
That is why the PM doesn’t want to implement vaccine passports because of inequality.
Yeah I mean it wouldn't be fair at all to do this. I guess a good percentage of people coming to Canada come form countries where the vaccine is not widely available or not available at all.
However, it may be implemented if other countries do it (US, UK, Europe).
