When will Mcmaster and Mcgill universities issue admits/rejects

Hi guys,
I had applied to the MEng program in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department (Winter 2014) of Mcmaster University and McGill university. Mcgill application status is 'ready for review' and Mcmaster says all materials shoud be received before deadline of november 11. I mean its October already isn't it late? When will these universities make their decisions?? Does anybody have any idea when do these univs usually send out admits/rejects for the winter session?

I've also applied to McGill (MEng Mining & Materials Eng'g) for Winter 2014. My status in Minerva is also still "ready for review". My friend in McGill already asked the department as to when will the admission letters be released. They say that letters will be sent out this week. Let's just hope that we receive the results soon!

hi, i hope your friend is right , that would mean its already under review which would be great but their website says usually time frame for decision is november to december. Hope it doesn't take that long. But local applicants will have different decision dates maybe? are you from canada?

I'm not from Canada. I'm not sure for the local applicants. My supervisor also told me that the letters will be released by late Sept to early Oct, but these are the Dept. admission letters and it would take another 2 weeks for the Univ. admission letter to be released.

Thats great , congratulations ;D. No mine is still 'Ready for review' in minerva. hey different departments have different dates right. Thats probably the reason i dint get.

I'm also trying to get into McGill for Fall 2014. What do you think are my changes at getting admission to MSc ECE?

CGPA: 3.33/4.0 after conversion.
GRE: V-152; Q-154; A-3.5
TOEFL ibt: 111

I have five years work experience and have two published papers.

I haven't applied to other universities yet. My current application status is "In Review"
