When will IRCC start dealing with Jan intakes?

Guys, if for example, i get a PPR on November 20, then because of bad internet connection in my country, I don't start my winter education online and defer it to summer term, when I am entering Canada, at the port of entry ( airport ) , will the officer ask me why I didn't start my education online in Winter or why didn't I come to Canada in winter, or it's oki? if I defer after i get my PPR won't there be any complications or is it better to before receiving PPR. I don't want to study online becasue of bad network connnection and i dont want to go to canada in winter becasue of quarantine and corona. I perfer to begin on summer and in person.

I think it depends on your uni/college. My uni clearly stated that winter 2021 courses will be delivered 100%online as well. Jan intake students don’t have aip so I guess if we are not approved by then we have to either defer again or take online courses insecurely
"Take courses insecurely" not sure what that means. Even my course is 100 percent online but how can we proceed to begin a semester without any proper authorization. We dont have AIP for winter neither are a majority of students getting approvals. Not sure what there game plan is
Means we have to take risks. If we had AIP then we could start classes safely cuz we know we would get approved most likely. But we don’t. So if we take courses without study permit and late are refused, if your school will fully refund you, good; if not, money gone
no. i havent . btw how do u track ghost updates. i keep checking but see no chnges nor get any email
Hello everyone, I have some questions it will be great if someone can give me answers.I have applied for january winter 2021 intake in Cambrian college for one year program and still waiting to get done my biometrics. Now my course mode is showing virtual learning mode so my questions are-
(1) will it create any problem to get student visa ? or
(2) will it create any problems on port of entry? or
(3) Do I have to complete this course from India ?

If the virtual mode is how the program is offered and regardeless of covid situation, yes it's a problem for all of the above, but if it's being delivered online because of covid, then it's not gonna make any problem, you can study online until April 2021, and then you should be present in canada.

You will not receive email when ghost update appears. Only when you log into the GCKey will you see "application/profile updated", which will change back to "submitted". This is so called ghost update.
so tht means i have not even got a ghost update except one which evry1 got few days ago. they have not bothered to look in my file
