When will IRCC start dealing with Jan intakes?

I might get hated for my comment but the reality is that it will take at least until late 2021/ early 2022 for normalcy in processing. They have openly made the statement that they will not proceed without clearing 2020 backlogs and it's their priority at the moment. Not even a single applicant I heard of got approved for Winter 2021 normally. They said they will filter out the refusals first for Winter 2021 in the webinar, either way the approvals will take time to reach.

Yes, only complete applications from 2020 with DLI on the list will get priority.

in my case i have a complete SDS application and the review of eligibility has not started as yet .

It doesn't matter if it's SDS or not, in fact its the opposite, non-SDS folks are getting faster results now. Minimum average waiting range is 3 to 10 months (at the moment) .

There is no 2 step for Jan so they'll need to provide us with a decision come December probably. I called IRCC last week they said my criminal check is done so there is some movement in the background, now we wait lol.

but most of us actually deferred to Jan and applied after sept 15. lets c if we get a response by at least 10 Dec

I applied in the middle of August, Jan 2021 intake, complete application, DLI on the list, eligibility review started on 21st August. It has been almost three months by now and no updates at all. Hope we could hear some good news from IRCC within a month. Im losing hope and patience everyday

I have never seen so many ppl loosing hope as i have seen in the last 2-3 days and all of us are in the same boat. it is a mental trauma now.
