When VFS Global in india will be operational ?

Hi,

My wife is foreign worker in canada with closed work permit. She went to india for a visit and struck there. Now her visa is expired, but She got PPR request for her PR application. We are waiting for VFS Global office in india to reopen. Does anyone has any idea when they are going to operational ?

Will depend on when covid is more under control. There is no set date. You should be included in her PR application if you are married and should also have PPR unless you were listed as unaccompanying.

yes, i was included in the PR application as dependent. Could you suggest the best way to bring her to Canada, Shall i apply for visitor visa, if VAC is providing visitor visa without passport request, then at least she can travel as visitor (which can be processed alt least after 3 months)

There is a PPR for a TRV as well. Unfortunately you are pretty much stuck until she can submit her passport.

vfs is doing UK but not Canada. Totally sucks
