When to submit profile after ITA ? Seniors please help.

Folks,

I got ITA on 22nd of Feb and 24th May is the deadline for me to submit all of the required documents.

My wife is pregnant and our baby is due on 22nd of April. Now the question is, should I submit everything (including medicals of my wife WITHOUT X-RAY), before our baby is born OR I should just gather all the documents right now and wait until our baby is born ? If we go with option 2, I believe I would have to update my profile (family composition, POF etc) before submitting the documents. Please advise regarding the best option.

Wait until your baby is born and add your baby to your application. Add additional funds for the extra person and all 3 will get PR. You can also defer your X-ray and submit now by CIC won't start processing so your application will be delayed anyway.

Hi,

I am in the same boat. We got ITA on Jan 11th. Wife is expecting on March 19th. We consulted our doctor and she advised it is safe to do X-RAY. We got our Medical exam done yesterday. The X-ray folks will give a apron to wear so it won't affect baby. In the JAN ITA whatsapp group there is another person who has this issue and they too got their Medical exam done with X-RAY. Their due in March first week I guess. If you don't want to do X-RAY and submit the application then also it is totally acceptable. CIC understands this.

We plan on submitting our application this week. After our baby is born we plan on updating CIC. Although I don't know how to do that.

I think i will wait until the baby is born. They wont start processing it anyway so I should be good. In the meanwhile, I would just ensure I have everything else in hand before the baby is born.

Get a passport for your baby as soon as he / she is born. That is an essential document.

Will do. I would have 30 days left by then. Hopefully, should be able to provide birth certificate, passport for baby and medical results for us during those 30 days.

Regarding the baby, is there any other document except for passport and birth certificate that needs to be submitted ?
