When to start you FBI PCC?

I have just my desired IELTS score and will be getting by PCC completed in next 40 days as I still have to request my university in India to send me the transcript(takes approx 20 days) and then 20 days WES processing time.
Meanwhile, I was thinking of initiating the FBI PCC as I have checked it takes 3 months.

But I am confused, because as I would be only applying after 40 days and it may take another 3 weeks to get an invitation. So should I apply for FBI PCC now and what is the validity of the FBI PCC?

Will it be taken into account when I send my documents that might be 2-2.5 months from now.

Regards

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Validity is 6 months if that is your current country of residence.

If not then valid if issued after the last time you lived in the States.

If you are not currently living in the US, apply for it NOW and then don't make any plans to return to the US until well after your estimated eAPR submission date (otherwise you'll invalidate the PCC). So guesstimate when you might get an ITA, then add 3 months on to that to figure our your estimated eAPR submission date. The FBI PCC normally takes 3 months to get and that was BEFORE this system upgrade they just started that will put the whole process of FBI PCC Issuances on hold. The FBI PCC was the FIRST thing I applied for (even before I registered for my language exam, and submitting my application for an educational credential assessment, and it was still the LAST thing that I had to wait for before I could submit my application).

However, if you ARE currently living in the US, your FBI PCC can't be older than 6 months before your eAPR submission date so in this case you, again, just need to estimate your eAPR submission date, and then apply for 6 months (or 5 months to be safe) before this estimated date.

Apply right now. It will take 4-5 months currently. They are implementing a new software system so apparently all applications after July 7th are delayed by 3 to 4 weeks. My application reached on the 11th and its not even been opened yet. I had to f****g decline the ITA because of this nonsense.

Wickerman NOOOOOOOO. You declined?!?! Why?!?! You could have just uploaded an LOE and evidence of the request (receipts, copies of the application sent, etc.). IRCC would likely have accepted the application and given you an extension for the PCC (not 100% guaranteed but highly likely)... :(

Ahh, yes, I guess I can understand that, especially if you're certain of receiving a new ITA. Good luck in your application!

I have sent the documents to FBI for pcc, will I get something to track my case or something. Becuase I have many heard people show there receipts and all to IRCC at the time of submission and then wait for the PCC. So what are those receipts and all?

There is no way to track. You need to either call them or email them with your First Name, Last Name and Date of Birth. The PCC takes 12 - 14 weeks to process. Beyond that I would add 2 weeks for transit time and another 2 weeks for delays due to inefficiencies - like the recent software update they are doing. So totally about 4.5 months.

If you have to submit your documents in the mean time, include your delivery receipt (UPS, Fedex etc) and include the email from the FBI stating their current processing time as well as your application status along with an LOE. If you havent got an ITA yet, you are doing the right thing by submitting the PCC application beforehand.
