When to Show the funds?

Hi all,
need to know when should I provide docuemnts for available funds? Is it with all other documents during the full applications or after that individually? How long the fund should available?

Hi:

You go back to the instructions of your CHC to find the required documents....one of them...and one of the most important documents is FUNDS.......

You must prepare the required sum of money(according to your family members) when you landing.... So think of that alaways.

Hi dear:

The issue is not depending on the one's experience. You MUST provide your full document a proof of fund which depends on the family members' number. Then when you land,you must show the immigration officer the proof of funds which suits your family members' number.

Don't even waste your time by thinking of not sending the proof of funds to your CHC.

You need to send POF while sending the Full Docs.

POF is one of the qualification parameters for PR eligibility and it needs to proven to VO that you have sufficient funds to carry to canada in case Visa is granted

If I want to be more specific- is there any certain criteria for the fund?
If it is a current account and the required amount is available about a month before to submit the application- is it ok? or it has to be a Fixed deposit?
I mean is there any specific time frame?

It could be current account or fixed. when you submit full docs to VO attach 3 to 6 months statement of required funds and maintained the funds till the medical received.

Funds can be in account or in Fixed deposit.
I have read cases on Forum where they got visa by showing funds only for a month in account.But to be on safe side three months statements should be good enough.

After you apply to visa office, you may not be able to withdraw the fund as VO may ask for POF again

We need only to worry about the funds after we receive the good news from CIC.
