When to send app for new FSW 1st july 2012

Let me ask a few questions that will get your answer.

Have you prepared all the documents? If yes then you do not have to wait for any documents.
Is all documents with IELTS ready and do they qualify for 67 points at least? Then you have the package ready?
Can you afford the Cost of the courier to send the documents? If you are preparing for FSW then I don't think spending about $50 on courier charges should not be a big amount.

So let us evaluate the situation:

1. You send the application on 26th June, It reaches on time, the NOC is in category you make it in the Cap.
2. You send the application on 26th June, It reaches on time, the NOC is not in the list, it will be sent back to you and there will be no problems.
3. You send the application after 1st July, the application reaches just before the cap is filled no problems.
4. You send the application after 1st July, the application reaches after the cap is filled then the application will be sent back.

So you have to choose the scenario and decide if you want to send it by 26th or 27th June or after 1st July. I am sending my application by 27th so it reaches there by either 2nd or 3rd July. Most likely the list would be out by 25th June or so.

wonder which courier service is faster........Emirates Post or DHL .......i never used DHL .....besides....i keep wondering how the documents will reach CIC sydney on either 1st or 2nd of july while the office is closed ,so courier will delay it till maybe 3 or 4th of july.....am I right or wrong...!!!

That is true, even Courier companies know it is a public holiday and will not attempt a delivery on these days... that means a lot of applications on first working day of July.... now add to that the quota for Categories like 1122... you have a mixture for Disaster (Cap Full) if the application is delayed even by one week...

So think all the options and then decide. I am giving my Application to courier company on 26 or latest by 27th July.

Fully agree with Siddharth...
As if there will be any major or minor change in the application formate or their requirement, we will not be able to add it to our application if we have couriered the same before new cap and instructions...

No we are nt pulling any of your legs lol. Certain noc get filled up soon.pharmacist takes 1month.all depends on noc mate .so upto you. I feel (no evidence) there may be some points changes and noc list

Just to clairfy.....Sunday, July 1st is CANADA DAY, so the statutory holiday falls on Monday the 2nd. The first working day will be Tuesday, July 3rd. Good luck to all.

If applying under NOC 1122; better to send application asap as last year this was the first category whose cap reached fastest.... best luck to all....
