When to pay Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)

Hi All,

I am appliying PR from Canada (currently I'm on work permit). I submitted my application in March 2010 to CIO, and got transferred to Buffalo in May 2010. Got medical exam and additional documents request in April 2012 (after 2-year waiting finally).

Finished my medicals and all other documents in May 2012 and sent to Buffalo office, but I haven't enclosed the Right of Permanent Residence Fee since on the document request letter, the box of "pay the fee" was not checked on the checklist. Have not yet got any communication or CIC online status check update ever since. Is it because I haven't paid the fee?

Could anyone share his/her experience in this regard, i.e. when did you pay your RPRF?

It is not the same for everyone when they are instructed to provide payment of the RPRF. In my case included in the request for additional documents I received were instructions to provide payment for the RPRF. If you can revisit the letters you already received - take a look if there was any instruction specific to asking for payment of RPRF aside from the checklist.

It is not the same for everyone when they are instructed to provide payment of the RPRF. In my case included in the request for additional documents I received were instructions to provide payment for the RPRF. If you can revisit the letters you already received - take a look if there was any instruction specific to asking for payment of RPRF aside from the checklist.

Thank you Ragluf. Apart from the checklist, there is no specific instructions on paying the fee.
