When to Land

Hello All,

I have got my visa approved on 20th July-10 (You can see my case details in my signature). My concern is what is the best time to land their in terms of weathers, job oppurtunities and specifically children school admissions. I have 2 kids one is in 4th Standard and 2nd is in 5th Standard and in March-11 they will be promoted to next standard.

So my question is if I move today in between their sesssion would they not lost their one year? Which standard they will be admitted by Canadian Schools?

Kindly share your experience and knowledge?

I am in USA and hopes similar situation in Canada in terms of weather & job opportunities; as per my experience;
weather - May to Sept/Oct could be best period
job opportunities - March to Oct.
Financial year in North America (USA & Canada) is Jan to Dec. New budgets are released for business (by business house management) in Feb/March every year and Nov/Dec is part of last quarter, which means least funds for managers to hire new employee. Although jobs are available in Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb but may not be as much as in March - Oct.
