when to be back in canada for spouse sponsorship

Canadian citizen living out of the country for more than 3 years. Does the CIC require you to be in Canada once my application is approved in Canada. can i still be here when my wife is called in for a interview and go back when she receives her PR.

You can return to Canada together, youjsut have to prove your intent to return.

Yes, since you are a Canadian citizen you can sponsor your spouse from outside Canada and remain with her until she gets her PR. FallenStar is right, you can all move together when she is approved and you just need to prove that you will be heading back.

From what you said on your other thread, that you will have a letter from your parents stating you have somewhere to live and also a letter from your employer saying that you have a job to go to, it looks like you have good evidence that you will be returning.
