When to apply for OHIP? once get OWP or ??

I'm new to the forums and have been reading a lot which has gotten me overwhelmed a bit. My wife came to Canada and been staying with me since August 2017, she got her visitor visa / record on October 2017. It's been past 6 months she's been staying with me. Does she apply for OHIP once she gets OWP or can she apply now? (I applied as inland sponsorship). Our apps were received Dec 2017, but have yet received AOR. Please advise when does she apply for OHIP, driver's license and SIN? Many thanks.

Would look through previous postings. You will still have to wait months no matter what but you may be able to start the process a month or two sooner.
