Dear All,

I don't know i should call it Bad or Good new, but i am mixed up and disturbed by something.

I don't know why, but i wanted to share this with all of you.

I sent my application to Sydney and it was received on 19th of March 2009 in There. I was waiting for AOR that they considered me for further or not. My uncle (Mamaa), who is Citizen of Canada was my helping hand in all this. He was the one who asked and convinced me to apply as i was good enough to get point as per his expectations. So, i did and applied as i mentioned above.

He was in Pakistan for some months on visit and his family was back there in Canada. We both prepared application and send and now we were waiting for reply so we can go further and submit application with full docs if i am considered.

On Sunday morning, i got a phone call that he had a heart attack and he was suffering between life and death. It was a shock for me that my young loving uncle (Mamaa) who was my adaptability as well for CA application expired in 1 hour.

I had to go to other city to attend his funerals. On Monday, 12 April 2009, i got a call from my home that there is a letter for me from Canada. It was AOR from Sydney. Asking to submit my full application to Islamabad in 120 days. Isn't surprising that i was waiting for this letter curiously and after i got to know its here i was crying instead of getting happy. Not because i lost my Adoption but i lost a great relation which was just like my father.

Now, i don't know what to do or say, don't know i will go for further or will withdraw as he is no more living Citizen & i don't think his wife can be my adaptability.

But here i am, sharing this good and bad news with all you guys. Please pray for his soul for peace and for his blessings to Heaven.

Regards,

Jawad Ahmad...

I am sorry about your uncle. I suppose you send your documents explaining that your uncle has died but his family is still in Canada. It depends on the visa officer I think if they give you the points. They might not.

Thanks Leon.

Just pray for him. He just died this week end and i receive AOR from NS on very next day he died. I haven submit application in Local office Islamabad yet. They gave me 120 days.

Regards,

Jawad...

I am sorry to hear this. Hope you are doing okay under the circumstances.

So sorry to hear this. My sincere condolences.

Hope you have enough points to apply without the adaptability points. Else is there anywhere you can try to make up for that?

I'm sure your and your uncle's wishes would come true someway. Good luck!

life is Perishable, i pray for ur uncle soul, but his success in the enduring life depends on what he had performed when he was on the crease. i hope he will be happy there. things can not be changed once they happened, but for those who learned lesson from it.

i thing u still go with ur appli, as it was ur combined decision, and u will get points of adaptibility as at the time of ur application he was a living canadian.

God help u

God bless you Jawad.

It is always counted that you have values for the relation and feelings for your Uncle.

No need to be upset and just go ahead with what both of you decided even if he does not exist. This was your Uncle's wish also.

Best of luck.

May his soul rest in perfect peace. Well Just trust in God and continue with your application and everything will be ok. There is a saying that when one door is locked another or a window will be opened. God bless you

Sorry to hear that about your Uncle, may his soul be in peace.

Regards,
Pankaj

Thanks to all who prayed for him.

He really needs that.

What you guys think how should i manage things? As you all are aware about my case that i recently got AOR from NS but in application i mentioned that my close relative is in Canada. Checked on Uncle/Aunt section. Since you know he is no more what should i do?

-Should i continue this way and Submit documents of his wife?

Or

-Should i change my relative section from my Uncle/Aunt to my Cousin (Son of my Father's Sister), who is also a Canadian Citizen.

Regards,

Jawad Ahmad...

sorry jawad about your uncle. may ALLAH give him a place in jannat ul firdous.

as far as i know, you can't claim adaptability points for your cousin. it should be your father/mother/grandfather/grandmother/brother/sister/aunt/uncle/niece/nephew. i may have missed out some other eligible blood relation in the list but i am sure you can't claim points for your cousin.

by the way, would you mind giving a breakdown of your total points here...

Hmmm,

If not cousin then wife of my Uncle?

My points break down is below.

Education, 14 Years = 20
Language = 10
Experience = 21
Age = 10
Accompanying Spouse Education = 4
Relation in Canada (Who is no more) = 5

Total: 70

Jawad Ahmad

I have another suggestion. since this is extra-ordinary case, try to do something extra-ordinary as well.
try to register in IELTS test again, and get score more than 7.5, that will give you total 16 english points and you will be fine even without any points of adaptability....

What if i don't get point accordingly?

Someone said that on the date of application or the date application was received he was alive, though he was not in Canada that time. Should i send any explanation letter to local office along with my documents? They might consider it since he was alive that time and now his wife my aunt is there and his kids too, my other cousin as well.

Any expertise?

Regards,

Jawad Ahmad...
