Dear newgirl, I don’t think you’re confused, I think you’re lazy! Have you ever visited CIC official website, and if you have, have you spent more than 5 seconds on it? I’m really amazed, how it is possible a college student to ask these naïve, even stupid questions:
“Can I move to Canada to work before the pr process is over?”
“Should I apply now and if I apply should I tell them I already have my college degree?”
– Sure, why not? Why don’t you begin your application with lies? Why don’t you even tell them you already have PHD? Who knows, one day you might really get one? Why don’t you tell them, you have an uncle living in Canada? Who knows, your uncle might become Canadian permanent resident next year? Why waist time - you can get the 5 extra points now.
Even you are, lets say only 22, why don’t you put in your application you have 15 years work experience? One day you will definitely have such an experience.
By doing so, you might gather not 67, but 167 points. Then the Canadian authorities will not only waive your interview, but will also most likely pay for your NY-Toronto airfare.
Now seriously: thank Got that Mr. Cohen had developed this great forum and thank Got that really great people like PMM, Thaiguy, AP, Eduardo Picazo (sorry, can’t mention all people who deserved a medal) are spending so much time and putting big efforts to help so may people with valuable advise FOR FREE !
People, PLEASE, read the CIC official website or old posts in this forum, educate your self’s, stop asking unnecessary questions, or questions that have been asked 1000 times! Do not waist the senior members valuable time! Let them answer specific or difficult questions, when it is really hard and difficult to find answers on the CIC site!
