Hi All,

I would like to know that The POF Bank statement when to be submitted ,

1)During submission of full docs OR
2)Statement required when landing Canada.

Kindly clear my doubt as i dont have sufficient amount presently, But can manage after 4,5 months.

So now i can lodge my file to CIO Sydney , But before submitting full docs require to show POF amount as an bank statement letter proof.

The question is about the 6-month bank account statement to be provided as part of the full docs to VO.
As instructed by CIC:
"If you have RECENTLY deposited a LARGE amount of money into your bank account, you must clearly explain the provenance of these funds."

The question is what do they mean by "RECENTLY" and "LARGE amount"?
"Recently" means how many days before the date of the account statement?
How much is considered as a large amount?

Is an amount of $12,000 made about 5 months before the statement date considered both RECENT and LARGE?

I have got my file number and I would like to know if I show a balance certificate, I mean closing balance certificate of a day, will it suffice my purpose?

CIC Says Readily tranfereble Amount. No where mentioned the no of days as well as amount. Just before sending the DOX make your Statement as required.

Thanks for ur reply but there is little confusion.

I am talking about a balance certificate tht shows closing balance of the previous day, it means only that day's closing balance will be shown. Now if u r talking abt a statement, how many days minimum balance needs to be shown here? will a month do?

I prefer to show a certificate as I dont hv enough money right now and I will have to borrow to show funds... please reply me

Because it is not required for the initial application to Nova Scotia, It is required when you receive the 120 day letter and when/if you "land"
 
Hi Seniors!

What if the bank account is under my wife's name instead of mine? Will that be a problem given I am the principal applicant? She has sufficient funds in her account since one year as proof of funds for settlement. She can transfer to my account but she has to travel to Pakistan, only for this purpose.

Your valuable comments are much appreciated.

1. Yes during the time of full documents submission.
2. At the time of landing the immigration officer can ask which now a days they are asking and in order to get the PR status you must meet the PR requirements that is proof of funds.
